FGC 2023 - Team Benin As posted on the FGC Website; Benin, our beautiful country, is a West African country on the road to development, through the management of its resources, the promotion of mutual aid and the promotion of its cultural wealth and traditional values. We are honored to represent our country at this international STEM competition. Our team is made up of studious young learners, aged 15-18, with a passion for science, mathematics and technology, and who enjoy reading, music, games and sport. This year, FIRST Global invites us to reflect on the theme Hydrogen Horizons, with the aim of finding solutions to the world’s energy problems. Aware of the pollution and depletion of fossil fuel deposits, our government has set up several projects aimed at using renewable energy, which is widely available in our countries. FGC 2021 - Team Benin As posted on the FGC Website; We are Team Benin. Representing our country at the FIRST Global competition is an exciting experience for us. At this time when the world is going through many difficulties due to Covid-19 we hope to reflect together to propose approaches of solutions that can be developed to meet the urgent needs of our communities. We are happy to be able to collaborate with other teams, despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
